If you want to do a print screen in Mac OS X you have a problem!
There is not print screen button in Mac keyboard
Fortunately there 3 ways to do printscreen by using your keyboard.
1. Hold down
- Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3
- and release all
- this captures all your desktop and saves it as .png file on your desktop
- 2. Hold down
- Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 4
- and release all key
- your cursor changes to + and helps you select the area you want to capture. Then mac saves it as .png file on your desktop
- 3. Hold down
- Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 4
- and release all key. Then press once the
- space bar
Now you can use the camera to select which application window to screen capture. Then mac saves it as .png file on your desktop.
